CLEVELAND – Western Michigan softball senior pitcher Rissa Bajusz has been named the Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday. Bajusz's Pitcher of the Week selection marks her second career MAC Pitcher of the Week title of her career.
This past weekend, Bajusz would only allow two earned runs in 18 innings pitched. The senior posted a strikeouts vs innings pitched ratio of 34:18 for an average of 1.89 strikeouts per inning average. Most notably, while pitching in WMU's three games this week, the senior would post a 12-strikeout performance against Quinnipiac on Sunday, March 3.
