The Mid-American Conference’s preseason volleyball coaches’ poll was released on Wednesday, with some good news for Broncos fans.
The Western Michigan University volleyball team was picked to finish second in the MAC West Division, behind Ball State University. The Broncos had 59 points overall, with two first-place votes. They also got two votes to win the MAC Tournament, which will be held in Oxford, Ohio, on the campus of Miami (Ohio) University.
The Broncos finished second in the West last season with an 8-8 conference record and 17-12 overall record. They made an impressive run as the sixth seed in the conference tournament, making it all the way to the finals before losing to Miami (Ohio) 3-0.
