COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- With the regular season in the books, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) announced its end of season awards, including All-Rookie and All-Conference Teams. Senior Jason Polin and freshman Ryan McAllister were the WMU representatives recognized by the league Wednesday afternoon.
Polin earned First Team All-NCHC honors after an impressive regular season that saw him tie the conference scoring mark. His next goal will be the 30th of the season and put him atop the all-time conference scoring list. In conference play, Polin was dominant, racking up 17 goals and 12 assists.
