Pierce and Arzhankin Earn Tournament Honors as WMU Finishes Up the Vredevelt Invitational

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up hosting the Vredevelt Invitational at Sorensen Courts on Sunday.

Freshman Anton Arzhankin and sophomore Brogan Pierce were named to the All-Tournament Team, while Notre Dame's Yu Zhang was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

The teams completed the second and third rounds of singles action and the third and final round of doubles play.

In the second round of singles Kyle Lohse, Pierce, Peter Kuszynski, Arjun Honnappa, Benjamin George and Arzhankin all claimed victories.
