CLEVELAND -- Western Michigan softball's Payton Kelly and Tristen Head have been tabbed as First Team All-Mid-American Conference as voted by the league's coaches and announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Kelly, a senior, repeats as a first team selection, having played in and started 25 of the team's 27 MAC games in the outfield. Was the MAC's top hitter, leading the conference with a .450 average in conference play. She hit five home runs, five doubles and two triples for a .750 slugging percentage that ranked sixth in the MAC, while driving in 20 runs.
