PAW PAW, MI - Every dream comes with a price.
For Paw Paw's Luke Toliver, the dream is playing Division-I basketball, and in a way, the price can be measured in dollars and cents.
The 6-foot-4 senior shooting guard committed to Western Michigan as a preferred walk-on Monday, turning down a scholarship offer from Division II Grand Valley State to pursue college basketball at the highest level.
"I have no guaranteed spot on the team unless I prove it," Toliver said. "They weren't going to sugar coat anything, and I appreciate that.
"We'll see where we're at in the future, but right now money isn't a huge issue to me, I just want to chase my dream.
