KALAMAZOO, Mich.- College football analyst Phil Steele unveiled his 2017 All-Mid-American Conference Teams on Friday. Western Michigan led the league with 13 All-MAC selections, including six recognitions on the First Team.
In addition to the All-MAC accolades, senior offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor and senior long snapper Wyatt Pfeifer were named All-Americans by Steele. Okorafor landed on the First Team, while Pfeifer was a Second Team selection.
The All-America nod was Okorafor's sixth of the season, as he has been named an FWAA First Team All-American, Walter Camp Second Team All-American, Sports Illustrated Second Team All-American and collected honorable mentions from SB Nation and CollegeFootballNews.
