The National Collegiate Hockey Conference announced Friday afternoon that it plans on playing a 26-game conference schedule set to start on Dec. 1 in Omaha.
The season will be conducted in a two-part format of which the conference will use a “centralized location” (pod) for the first set of games. This was unanimously decided by the conference board of directors on Oct. 15.
The NCHC will consist of two divisions, the east and the west. The East will include Miami, Minnesota Duluth, St. Cloud St. and Western Michigan. The West will include Colorado College, Denver, North Dakota and Omaha.
