KALAMAZOO, MI - Most West Michiganders aren't blessed with a 40-inch vertical leap, a smooth 25-foot jump shot or a 6-foot-5 stature.
That doesn't mean they can't get close to college basketball's top prize.
The NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship Trophy is set to make a visit to Kalamazoo on Friday, Jan. 19, when Western Michigan hosts Buffalo at University Arena.
As part of a nationwide tour, the trophy travels across the country, most recently in East Lansing's Breslin Center for the Michigan at Michigan State contest on Jan. 13.
Fans will have the opportunity to interact and take a photo with the national championship trophy prior to the 7 p.
