KALAMAZOO, MI - Injuries kept opponent starting quarterbacks out of action in Western Michigan's games against Wagner and Ball State, and the Broncos likely will avoid the opposition's top signal caller once again.
Tyree Jackson, a University of Buffalo sophomore and former Muskegon Mona Shores star, suffered a knee injury during his team's Week 4 win over Florida Atlantic, and Bulls coach Lance Leipold said his starter is doubtful for the Saturday, Oct. 7 contest against WMU.
"Right now, I view him as doubtful for the game," Leipold said during Monday's MAC coaches' conference call.
