MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Fifth-year senior tied the program individual floor record for the third time in her career and helped the Western Michigan gymnastics team break the team floor record as the Broncos wrapped up the regular season at Central Michigan on Friday.
Murphy scored a 9.975 for the second-straight meet to tie the record and win on floor. Junior tied for second with a career-high 9.925, while and each scored a 9.900. Donnakathryn Roy had a 9.875 to help set the new team record at 49.575.
Murphy also picked up a win on vault after posting a score of 9.
