Murphy Breaks All-Around Record as WMU Shines at George Washington

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A week after setting a new program record, the Western Michigan gymnastics team nearly tied it after turning in a 196.725 to finish at the top in a five-team meet at George Washington on Friday night.

Senior Payton Murphy also broke her program record in the all-around for a second time this season, finishing with a 39.525.

The Broncos had first-place finishes on bars, beam and floor. Donnakathryn Roy and Sarah Moravansky tied for first place on bars with 9.900's. Abby Singh and Murphy also had strong showings with 9.
