Mike Melaragni was named MAC men’s soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Melaragni scored a goal and added an assist in the Broncos’ win over Bowling Green Wednesday. His assist came on a goal by Dylan Sing to give Western Michigan the lead in the early stages of the match. His goal came less than five minutes later to put the Broncos up 2-0 and ultimately was the deciding goal with WMU winning the match 2-1.
Melaragni now leads the Broncos and places second in the MAC in goals with five. His three assists also lead WMU and are good for fourth in the conference, which he leads in points per match at 1.
