The series between Michigan State and Western Michigan will continue beyond next year.
The Spartans scheduled home games against the Broncos to open both the 2022 and 2025 seasons, the programs announced Wednesday. The teams will play in East Lansing on Sept. 3, 2022 and again on Aug. 30, 2025.
Michigan State was already scheduled to host Western Michigan on Sept. 7 next year.
Western Michigan's press release notes the school will receive $1.5 million for each of the games in 2022 and 2025. The Broncos will receive $1 million to play in East Lansing next year.
