KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan women's basketball team suffered an 81-62 Mid-American Conference setback versus Miami University inside University Arena on Saturday, Feb. 2.
Despite hanging with the Redhawks for the majority of the contest, the visitors closed out the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Broncos 24-12 in the final 10 minutes to seal the victory. Miami's Lauren Dickerson and Savannah Kluesner totaled 20 points each, leading the Redhawks to an efficient shooting day of 50.8 percent from the field (32-of-63), including a 6-14 mark from beyond the arc and 11-of-13 effort at the charity stripe.
