KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team will head to the University of Tennessee for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 28-29, 2022.
The Broncos are the No. 3 seed in the region and will open the tournament against No. 2 Memphis. The Tigers ended the 2020-21 season with an ITA ranking of 35. The host Volunteers will take on Old Dominion. WMU is 2-0 all-time against Memphis, 1-3 against Tennessee and 0-3 against ODU. UT finished last season with an ITA ranking of four, while Monarchs had a ranking of 53.
