CLEVELAND – For the second week in a row the Western Michigan men's tennis team has swept the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week Awards. Freshman Brogan Pierce has been named MAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week and the duo of freshman Joaquin Caballer and junior Peter Kuszynski have been named MAC Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.
Pierce played in two of WMU's three matches last week. He opened the week with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Pedro Alverez of Chicago State at No. 6, helping the Broncos earn a 7-0 win over CSU.
