TEMPE, Ariz. – On Monday the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named Western Michigan men's tennis an All-Academic team while Jannik Opitz, Peter Kuszynski and Arjun Honnappa were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The Broncos earned the ITA All-Academic team honor for the sixth year in a row after posting a cumulative team grade point average above 3.2. Men's Tennis was also one of three WMU men's teams to record a single year perfect score APR ranking of 1,000.
WMU along with Ball State, Buffalo and Binghamton were the only schools from the Mid-American Conference to earn the All-Academic team award.
