Men's Tennis Hosts Home Matches Against Butler and Illinois State

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's tennis team (4-1) returns home to host Butler (9:00 a.m.) and Illinois State (2:30 p.m.) at West Hills Athletic Club this Sunday, January 28. Admission to all home tennis matches is free.

The Broncos went 2-1 last weekend with wins at Iowa (5-2) and Tennessee Tech (4-0). WMU dropped its first match of the season to Drake (4-3) in a match that was decided on the last point.

Three players boast a perfect singles record this spring, including sophomore Jannik Opitz who holds a 4-0 record and was recently tabbed as the Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week with his impressive performance last weekend.
