Men's Tennis Finishes Play in Toledo while Opitz Leads the Rest of the Team at the ITA All-American

TOLEDO, Ohio/ TULSA, Okla. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team finished up play at the Toledo Rocket Invitational on Sunday while senior Maik Steiner, junior Eric Olivarez and sophomore Jannik Opitz continued play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American.

At the Rocket Invitational, the Broncos picked up wins from junior Matej Svjetlicic and junior Kris Knof. Svetlicic defeated St. Francis's Franz Luna (6-4, 7-5) improving his singles record to 4-1 this season. Knof defeated Duquesne University's Dane Bendel this afternoon improving his win streak to two, going 3-1 at the invitational.
