VALPARAISO, Ind. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated Valparaiso on the road to earn its third consecutive victory this afternoon. With the 4-3 result, the Broncos have now recorded three straight wins over the Crusaders dating back to the 2018 campaign.
All three doubles teams prevailed for the Broncos, with the #41 nationally ranked duo of Jannik Opitz and Kennosuke Nouchi giving their team a 1-0 lead following a 6-4 win over Brandon Ancona and Brian Pecyna.
Valparaiso tied the match at 1-1 after Franklin Brozovich was victorious at #6 singles.
