KANSAS CITY, MO. –The United Soccer Coaches announced its All-West Region selections Tuesday. This year, Western Michigan led the Missouri Valley Conference with four first team nods and five total selections. Broncos Jaylen Shannon, Jonathan Robinson, Charlie Sharp, and Dylan Sing earned first team honors, while Carson Hodgson received a second team nod Wednesday.
Western Michigan set a program record Wednesday with four All-Region First Team members, surpassing last year's previous record of three All-Region First Team nods. This year, Sharp earned his second career All-Region First Team selection, while Shannon, Robinson, and Sing earned their first career All-Region First Team selections.
