Men’s Soccer Returns Home, Closes In On Program History Versus In-State Rival Oakland

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- After nearly a month, the Western Michigan men's soccer team (7-1-3) returns to WMU Soccer Complex to host in-state rival Oakland University (4-5-2) Wednesday at 4:30 PM. Live Stats and livestream information is available under the men's soccer schedule.

Western Michigan will be looking to win its 14th straight game against in-state opponents tomorrow. The Broncos trail the Grizzlies in the all-time series 11-6. However, Western Michigan has dominated the Grizzlies since 2017, winning five consecutive matches by an average of 1.8 goals per contest. Last season against Oakland, WMU defeated the Grizzlies 3-0 after goals from alumni Eric Conterty, Daniel Nimick, and current captain Charlie Sharp.
