On Oct. 4, the number seven ranked Michigan State Spartans will be coming to the WMU soccer complex, and the Broncos will experience their first loss of the season. This will happen in large part because of both the Spartans and the Broncos respective defenses.
Through seven games played, the Spartans have allowed one goal while the Broncos have conceded six in nine. The Spartans have height at the back too, and this will hurt the Broncos in their ability to score from set pieces and crosses.
Apart from MSU, the Broncos schedule isn’t filled with the hardest opponents in the world as far as out of conference play goes.
