Men’s Soccer ends losing streak with resounding win

On Monday evening, Western Michigan Men’s Soccer ended its losing streak with a convincing 9-0 victory over Adrian College. This now brings the team to 2-6 overall.

Forward Piero Sabroso opened scoring early, assisted by junior Braxton Arpachinda. Senior Jonathan Stout followed with two goals in two minutes, both set up by sophomore Sahel Yessen. Midfielder Braden Stevanovic added a fourth with help from junior Adrian Jogerst. Forward Alek Markovski closed the half with a penalty kick goal. WMU outshot the Bulldogs 23-2 in the first 45 minutes.

Early in the second half defender Carter Cormier continued the Bronco’s offense with an assist from Gabe Villagomez.
