KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's soccer team earned a dramatic 1-0 win in double overtime against Oakland at the WMU Soccer Complex on Wednesday.
Early into the second overtime WMU (3-4-4) earned a corner kick and junior defender served the ball into the box and senior forward headed it into the net in the 102nd minute for the game's only goal.
Western Michigan shot the ball 11 times, with five shots coming from junior midfielder . Melaragni, as well as fifth-year defender , both added two shots a piece for their team.
