CLEVELAND – Western Michigan sophomore Megha Vallabhaneni has been named the MAC Golfer of the Week after helping lead the Broncos to a tournament win at the Butler Don Benbow Invitational.
Vallabhaneni was WMU's top finisher, helping the Broncos win the the program's first tournament since 2019. The Northville, Mich., native never left the top three of the individual leaderboard during the 36-hole tournament. She opened with a 74 and then finished off with a 77 for a 151 (+7). She tallied 21 pars and four birdies in her two rounds.
This is the first MAC weekly honors for Vallabhaneni in her career.
