Sophomore goaltender Austin Cain is a Canada native hailing from Ottawa, Ontario where he has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with between the pipes.
Before Austin came to the States to get an education and play hockey, he had previously played for the Whitby Fury of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). The OJHL is one of North America’s most respected developmental hockey leagues.
Austin Cain showed tremendous promise playing goaltender as he went 22-8-0 with a .916 save percentage and a 2.66 goals against average in the 2016-2017 season in the OJHL.
