AKRON, Ohio -- The Western Michigan track and field team capped off the 17th annual Akron Invitational with a pair of personal-best marks on Saturday afternoon at Stile Field House.
Rebecca McNamee set a new best mark in the 800-meter run. The senior ran a time of 2:13.92 and took third place. Also picking up a new personal-best time in the event was freshman Emma Pachay with a time of 2:25.69.
"Rebecca has truly shown her range as a distance athlete," said head coach Makiba Batten. "She has carried her success from cross country into this indoor season.
