BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Senior Western Michigan cross country runner Rebecca McNamee earned All-Mid-American Conference honors after taking eighth overall at the 2020 MAC Championships at Bowling Green State University on Saturday afternoon.
McNamee paced the Broncos by running a time of 21:16.5, a new personal-best, and was named Second-Team All-MAC. McNamee turned in a new personal-best in all three races she competed in this season. The Marquette, Mich., native shaved 1:05.7 off of her pervious 6k personal best that she set back on Nov. 7 at the Falcon Invitational.
Sophomore Annalise James was WMU's second finisher on the day, taking 68th overall with a time of 23:00.
