Matteo Costantini Signs Deal in Buffalo Sabres Organization

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan assistant captain Matteo Costantini signed a two-year contract with the Rochester Americans, which is the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres.

Costantini played a big role in helping the Broncos earn the 2025 National Championship, along with the Penrose Cup and NCHC Frozen Faceoff title.

The St. Catharine's, Ontario native played two seasons in the Brown and Gold after transferring from North Dakota. His career took off in Kalamazoo, as he went on to produce 54 points on 19 goals and 35 assists. He played in 78 games for the Broncos.
