MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team fell at the hands of Marquette Friday afternoon in a tight 4-3 match. The Broncos fall to 5-3 this season as the Golden Eagles snapped the Broncos three-match winning streak.

"When you go on the road I think you are starting down 1-0, that was the difference today," head coach Ryan Tomlinson said. "Not too often are we going to get beat at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 singles. We did however play better doubles today. It's a quick turn around and we have to lace them up against a very good Iowa team tomorrow.
