Maik Steiner Advances to the Quarterfinals of the ITA Midwest Regionals

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Senior Maik Steiner led the Broncos on day three of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regionals, battling his way through the main draw singles bracket and advancing to the round of 16 matches. Play will resume tomorrow at the University of Michigan at 10 a.m.

The singles main draw began Friday morning as Steiner got the Broncos going, defeating Youngstown State's Veremeichuk, 7-6(4), 6-2, and Kobelt from Ohio State. The senior moves on to the quarterfinals and improves his single season record to 9-2 overall.
