Starting quarterback Jon Wassink is done for the regular season with a broken collarbone. If the Broncos can make it to a bowl game, there is a chance that Wassink could potentially play in a later scheduled bowl in December. The most recent injury to occur is to Jamauri Bogan, who is done for the season with a foot injury. He has been a key running back being part of that dual-threat backfield with Franklin.
The race to the Mid-American Conference championship is closing in. WMU has slipped with losses to Akron University and Central Michigan University. After posting a 48-20 win against Kent State University, the Broncos now stand with an overall record of 6-4 and 4-2 in conference play.
