Lowry and Tucker Earn MAC Player of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND -- Western Michigan quarterback Broc Lowry and defensive end Nadame Tucker have earned Mid-American Conference Player of the Week honors.

Lowry had a career day in WMU's 42-0 win over Ball State. He completed a career-high 23 passes for a career-high 241 yards and two touchdowns. He then rushed for 13 times for a career-high 108 yards and one touchdown. Lowry became the first Broncos quarterback to surpass 100 yards rushing in a game since Sept. 22, 1973 (Paul Jorgensen vs. NIU). His first touchdown pass gave the Broncos a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter.
