PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Behind home runs from juniors Blake Dunn and Sean O'Keefe the Western Michigan baseball team began play at the Snowbird Classic with an 8-3 victory over Villanova on Tuesday.
The Broncos posted eight runs on seven hits against the Wildcats en route to their fourth straight win at the Snowbird Classic dating back to last season. Overall WMU has won nine of its last 12 contests at the Snowbird Classic and has an overall record of 6-5 during the 2020 campaign.
Of WMU's seven hits, five went for extra bases with Dunn and O'Keefe each hitting their second home runs of the season.
