LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its NCAA Division I All-America teams on Wednesday, with Western Michigan senior setter Logan Case earning AVCA Honorable Mention All-American.
Case becomes just the seventh player in program history to earn All-American status, and the first since Rachel Bontrager was named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American after the 2020 season (played during the spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
A native of Maineville, Ohio, Case recorded 30 or more assists in 33 of WMU's 34 matches on the way to leading NCAA Division I in total assists with 1,421, and ranking second nationally in assists per set at 11.
