KALAMAZOO, MI -- Nine months of anticipation are coming to an end, as Western Michigan's 2017 season opener against No. 4 USC is set to kick off at 5:15 p.m. Saturday from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Broncos are coming off an historic season that saw the team carry an undefeated record into the Cotton Bowl, where they hung with Wisconsin before eventually taking a 24-16 loss.
USC has plenty of momentum in its own right, after turning a 1-3 start into a 10-3 season that concluded with a 52-49 win over Penn State in the Rose Bowl.
