CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Western Michigan softball team went 2-0 on Friday, March 10 to begin the second weekend of the USF Under Armour Series. The pitching game for the Broncos highlighted the pair of victories as both sophomore Jordan Kurth and junior Anissa Sanchez pitched complete games. WMU defeated Central Connecticut State 2-0 and then went on to a 3-0 victory over Mount St. Mary's.
In game one, the Broncos got on the board in the top of the first when Mackenzie Swinehart singled to left field driving in center fielder Ivy Schaaf.
