KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- For the third straight week, junior Tracy Kuhle and freshman Melina Lyubomirova of the Western Michigan women's tennis team were named the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Doubles Team of the Week.
Kuhle/Lyubomirova pushed their impressive match winning streak to five matches with a 6-1 win over Alejandra de Lasa and Ashley Thai of Bradley on Saturday, Feb. 20. The two earned the first win of the day to help the Broncos claim the doubles point over the 6-2 Braves. The duo leads the team with a 12-4 overall record and have gone 8-2 in their last 10 matches.
