Kebe Wins 400-Meter Hurdles on Final Day of MAC Championships

ATHENS, Ohio – The Western Michigan track and field team finished in sixth place with 74 points at the MAC Championships. The Broncos have now finished top six at the conference meet in back-to-back seasons.

Mabinty Kebe stole the show on the final day, winning the 400-meter hurdles for the second consecutive season. She broke the MAC Championship record, crossing the finish line in a time of 57.46. Just behind Kebe was Angel Pratt, who collected third place with a time of 1:00.10. That duo put 16 points on the board for the team.
