CLEVELAND – After registering a career-high 27 points against Chicago State, Western Michigan men's basketball junior guard Josh Davis has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week.
Davis against the Cougars on Saturday recorded a career-high 27 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field while also knocking down a career-high five three-pointers. Davis neared a double-double as well, collecting eight rebounds along with four assists in 24 minutes played.
The Detroit, Mich., native scored in double figures for the third time this season and collected his first career 20-point performance against CSU.
