KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan women's tennis head coach Ryan Tomlinson has announced the hiring of Jimmy Beckwith to the position of assistant coach.
Beckwith, a native of Battle Creek, Mich., spent last season with the Broncos as a volunteer assistant coach, helping WMU achieve overall and conference winning records.
"Jimmy did a great job as the volunteer assistant last season," said Tomlinson. "His knowledge and passion for developing players will be beneficial with such a young team. He is a Bronco through and through and that means a lot to me and the program.
