KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men’s tennis saw three different players receive Mid-American Conference (MAC) weekly awards in sophomore Jefta Kecic, senior Ruben Greiner and junior Daniel Loebel. Kecic was named the MAC Singles Player of the Week and Greiner/Loebel earned the MAC Doubles Team of the Week award.
Kecic, a 2015 First Team All-MAC performer, extended his winning streak to five matches with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Carlos Manzanas of Northern Illinois at No. 1. Kecic, who has only played at No. 1 or No. 2, helped the Broncos improve to 15-4 this season, 3-0 in the MAC and 9-0 at home this season with their 7-0 win over the Huskies.
