SAN JOSE, Calif.- Western Michigan freshman wide receiver Jayden Reed was named to the 18th annual Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team this morning.
Reed is the fourth Bronco to earn FWAA Freshman All-America honors in the last seven years, joining punt returner Jamie Wilson (2012), wide receiver Corey Davis (2013) and kick returner Darius Phillips (2014). He was one of only two players from the Mid-American Conference to be recognized this season.
Reed caught 56 passes for 797 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He also had a 93-yard punt return for a touchdown.
