CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its specialty awards and All-Conference teams for men's basketball on Wednesday, with Western Michigan sophomore guard JaVaughn Hannah being voted as the league's Sixth Man of the Year, and redshirt junior guard B. Artis White earning All-MAC Honorable Mention.
Hannah becomes the third Bronco to be named the MAC Sixth Man of the Year, joining Reggie Berry (2004) and David Brown (2013). The sophomore has come off of the bench for the majority of the season for Western Michigan, and is averaging 9.3 points and 3.
