Western Michigan University running back Jamauri Bogan is one of 104 players in the FBS nominated for the Wuerffel Trophy, and to put that into perspective, there are 129 FBS schools with a roster limit of 85 players.
“We always talk about the game of football and life in general being bigger than just yourself. It’s about serving, it’s not about me but it’s about we. That’s what that trophy symbolizes; it’s not about you, you have to go out and do something bigger with your platform than what you have,” Bogan said. “We have a platform, we have this opportunity, with opportunity is responsibility and with that responsibility we have to go out and serve these people that need us.
