COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan hockey senior forwards Hugh McGing and Wade Allison have been named to the 2019-20 National Collegiate Hockey Conference Preseason All-Conference team, as selected by league and national media.
McGing garnered the most votes out of any forward, 22, and the third-most votes on the team as a whole. The St. Louis Blues' draft pick, who will be captaining the team this year, was a Second Team All-NCHC selection last season after putting up a career-high 30 points on 16 goals and 14 assists. His goal tallied tied him for the team lead, with 11 of them coming in NCHC play.
