KALAMAZOO, MI – The Battle of the Cannon Trophy, the Michigan MAC Trophy and, most importantly, bragging rights are on the line Wednesday, when Central Michigan visits Western Michigan for the 88th installment of the rivalry football game.
WMU is coming off an overtime win against Eastern Michigan, while CMU throttled Ball State 56-9 on Oct. 21.
Both teams saw players achieve milestones in Week 8, including WMU’s Jarvion Franklin breaking the school’s career rushing record, and CMU’s Joe Ostman earning his second MAC West Defensive Player of the Week honor with a four-sack performance.
