CLEVELAND – The Western Michigan men's tennis duo of Arjun Honnappa and Fynn Lohse have been named the Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week for their performance at the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The pair competed in one doubles match on the weekend, a thrilling 7-6 (7-5) win over the 30th-ranked team o David Stevenson and Jeremy Taylor from Memphis. The win helped the Broncos secure the doubles point in their match with the Tigers. The win improved Honnappa and Lohse to 3-1 in doubles action during dual matches.
This is the second straight week that the Broncos have earned MAC weekly honors, with Peter Kuszynski earning MAC Men's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week last week.
